Last night in Sapporo, ramen city!

After a visit to the Sapporo Clock Tower in the center of town, a few of us went for a cappuccino at a very cute second floor cafe. Then on to a Tokyu Hands store for a few souvenirs.

From there we walked to "ramen alley" for a traditional Japanese supper of ramen. The shops in the little alley are so small with just the cook on one side and a few stools on the customer side. There were signs in the alley specifying something about these restaurants are not inspected by the board of health, or something along those lines. Oh, well, we still wanted to try it! It was delicious! Oii shi desu! I had soy sauce ramen with pork and vegetables, and gyouza (pot stickers).
